Booking Process

Start by submitting the tattoo inquiry below with as much information as possible about your idea, placement, approximate size, and overall direction. Once reviewed, you’ll hear back from me or my team within 1-3 business days to schedule your consultation and determine the best approach for the project.

Most custom projects begin with an in-person consultation before the tattoo appointments are scheduled. This allows me to properly discuss the project, photograph and trace the body segment when appropriate, and account for anatomy, movement, existing tattoos, and overall form, fit, and flow when designing the artwork. Consultations are available at Raven Mocker Tattoo in Kingsport, TN and Social Graces Tattoo in Miamisburg, OH during scheduled Social Graces dates.

Once the project direction and scheduling are agreed upon, a non-refundable deposit is required before appointment dates are secured. Deposits are typically handled in person with cash preferred. For long- distance, convention, or guest-spot clients, reasonable accommodations can be made when discussed in advance, including remote consultation arrangements and a secure electronic deposit link provided directly by me or my team. I will never request tattoo deposits through random social media accounts, unofficial payment links, or third parties.

Larger and ongoing work may be booked by the project with an agreed session schedule and deposit structure, while smaller custom work and flash may be priced individually when appropriate. Full deposit, scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellation policies are outlined below the submission form.

Deposits & Pricing

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure tattoo appointments and ongoing projects. Deposits reserve your scheduled time and compensate for the planning, research, and design work that happens outside of the tattoo appointment.

For larger or multi-session projects, one deposit may remain attached to the project as long as the agreed appointment schedule is maintained. The deposit is applied toward the final session balance of the project unless otherwise discussed.

A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to reschedule an appointment without forfeiting your deposit.

Deposits are forfeited in the following cases

  • No call/ no show for appointment date(s)

  • Reschedule request with less than 48 hours’ notice

  • Cancellation by the client

  • More than two reschedules

  • Significant or complete change to the original design concept after booking

  • Arriving to your appointment with numbing cream/products already applied to your skin

  • Abusive, threatening, or harassing behavior toward the artist or staff

A new deposit will be required to re-book any forfeited appointments.

Pricing is based on the scope and goals of the tattoo rather than strictly by the hour. Larger custom work is generally scheduled as half-day, full-day, or multi-day sessions, while smaller custom tattoos and flash designs may be priced by the piece.

Scheduling Options/ Deposit Amounts

Piece-Priced Tattoos — Smaller custom tattoos, flash, and other appropriate work may be quoted by the piece. A deposit equal to 50% of the quoted tattoo price is required to schedule.

Half-Day Sessions — ideal for medium-scale custom work / flash, larger outlines, or continuing larger projects. A deposit equal to 50% of the quoted session cost is required to schedule.

Full-Day Sessions — ideal for larger custom work/ flash, collector pieces, and substantial progress on ongoing projects. A deposit equal to 50% of the quoted session cost is required to schedule.

Multi-Day Sessions/ Ongoing Projects — Back-to-back sessions and extensive ongoing projects are structured around the overall goals and scope of the tattoo and agreed appointment schedule. A $1,000 project deposit is required to begin scheduling the project.
